Saint Charles Municipal Band
Nothing beats the experience of live music, in great settings where audiences and band members alike create a unique atmosphere while enjoying music that has served as the backdrop for our history and pop culture. That’s exactly what the St. Charles Concert Band has been doing since 1870 – serving as a cultural anchor for the community and bringing audiences together through music. All of our performances are celebrations, offering audiences a fun and free opportunity to experience the big songs that represent music’s past and future.

KING BENNY
King Benny is a Blues/Rock based band out of a small river town by the Mississippi River called Louisiana, Missouri. The band blends influences of Delta Blues of the 1920s and 30s with the Electrified Blues and Folk Music of the 1960s, as well as rock and roll from the 70s to form their sound. Their original music prompted Original 1969 Woodstock
co-creator, Artie Kornfeld to call them "A Bluesier version of The Band".

EL SCORCHO!
Because awesomeness needed a theme song!

Their performances are show-stopping and interactive, engaging crowds from the first song until the last.

SAINT CHARLES MUNICIPAL
JAZZ BAND
The Big (Jazz) Band was organized in 1999, drawing mainly on musicians from the Municipal Band, many of whom also played with other big bands in the St. Louis area. In 2000, the 18-piece Big Band began performing one Sunday evening each month during the summer in Frontier Park in St. Charles. Located on the banks of the Missouri River in Historic St. Charles, Frontier Park offers a fabulous backdrop to experience the music performed by the Big Band. The monthly Sunday evening concert series continues today.

William Andrew
William plays acoustic covers mixed in with live looping. He expands on songs by introducing other instruments and effects to bring out an on-the-spot musical journey. He plays originals as well which he has written over the years. Some of the artists he covers are: Grateful Dead, Phish, Talking Heads, Justin Townes Earle, Ryan Bingham, Wilco, and many more.

CATFISH WILLIE
The Catfish Willie Band is an exciting, high-energy Southern Roots & Blues led by guitar virtuoso front man, Catfish Willie, and backed up by a super-dynamic group of musicians whose dynamics feature everything from gentle grooves to “old school” inferno…and every sweet spot in between. Catfish Willie honed his craft to perfection touring nationally and playing on bills with countless musical legends including the Allman Bros. Band, Buddy Guy, Sheryl Crow, ZZ Top, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Scorpions, Blues Traveler and many others. The Catfish Willie Band will get people grooving, put smiles on the faces of both young and old and is sure to satisfy the appetite of those who love all the southern rock, roots, and blues classics!
